The Longing Sleep is a video performance answering the question What if Empathy was more Valuable than Love? for the Festival BaseCamp in the Film Festival Locarno in 2022.

I documented the artistic process when facing a question that seems impossible to answer. In this attempt of creation I faced myself to existential questions that still remains unresolved today. How can I talk about love when my own experience of it is so distorded and complex? Questioning deeply my own vision of love and its endeavors, I refused to create content fantasizing any typology of relationship in order to stop nourishing a certain cinematographic vision that contemporary culture tends to question broadly nowadays.
